Privacy Policy – MyRemoteDr Mobile App

MyRemoteDr LLC ("MyRemoteDr", "we", "our", or "us") provides a mobile application designed to support Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) by allowing patients to view their health data and receive reminders to record vital signs.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the MyRemoteDr mobile application.
1. Scope of the Mobile Application
The MyRemoteDr mobile app is currently limited to:
• Displaying patient vital sign data and trends
• Allowing users to configure and receive daily reminders to record their vital signs
• Allowing users to authorize access to health data stored in Android Health Connect or Apple Health (iOS) for healthcare monitoring purposes
2. Information We Collect
a. Account Information
Username (used to authenticate users and identify accounts)
Users of the mobile application are pre-registered through healthcare organizations using the MyRemoteDr platform.
For account recovery, the mobile application may provide access to a secure password reset page operated by the MyRemoteDr platform. When a password reset is requested, verification may be performed using a one-time code sent by SMS to a phone number previously provided and managed by the associated healthcare organization.
The mobile application does not require users to directly enter personal information such as name, email address, or phone number during normal use. Any contact information used for account verification or recovery is maintained by the MyRemoteDr platform and the associated healthcare organization.
b. Health Data
• Vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, blood glucose, respiratory measurements, and weight
• Historical trends and graphical representations of patient data
c. Device and Technical Data
• Device type and operating system
• IP address
• System logs and diagnostic information
3. Health Data Integrations
a) Medical Device Manufacturer Integrations
MyRemoteDr obtains health data through authorized integrations with medical device manufacturer platforms and services, including but not limited to Omron, Withings, Transtek, and other approved providers. Health information collected by these manufacturer platforms may be securely transmitted to the MyRemoteDr platform through authorized integrations for remote patient monitoring purposes.
b) Health Connect (Android) and Apple Health (iOS) Integration
The MyRemoteDr app may request permission to read health data stored in Android Health Connect or Apple Health (iOS). This access is used exclusively to retrieve health information authorized by the user and make it available within the MyRemoteDr platform for healthcare monitoring purposes.
MyRemoteDr only accesses health data types that are directly relevant to patient monitoring, including but not limited to blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, blood glucose, respiratory measurements, and weight.
MyRemoteDr may read health information that the user has authorized through Android Health Connect or Apple Health and securely transmit that information to the MyRemoteDr platform for remote patient monitoring purposes. MyRemoteDr does not write, modify, synchronize, or send data back to Health Connect or Apple Health.
Users may revoke this permission at any time through their device's Health Connect or Apple Health settings.
Health data obtained through Health Connect or Apple Health is used solely for healthcare monitoring purposes. It is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, data brokerage, or any commercial purpose unrelated to the healthcare services provided by MyRemoteDr.
The mobile application may display and process health data obtained through authorized integrations, including Android Health Connect, Apple Health, healthcare platforms, and connected medical device manufacturer services. Authorized health data may be securely transmitted to and stored within the MyRemoteDr platform for remote patient monitoring purposes.
4. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
• Display patient health data and trends
• Allow authenticated users to securely access their health information
• Send daily reminders to encourage recording of health data
• Retrieve authorized health data from Health Connect (Android), Apple Health (iOS), and authorized medical device manufacturer integrations
• Maintain system functionality, performance, and security
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
The mobile application does not perform billing services.
5. Notifications
The app may send notifications to remind users to record their vital signs. These notifications are:
• Configurable by the user
• Used solely for healthcare-related purposes
• Not used for marketing or advertising
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share information with:
a. Healthcare Providers
Authorized physicians and care teams involved in patient care.
b. Patient-Authorized Participants
Family members or caregivers when permitted by the patient.
c. Service Providers
Secure hosting, infrastructure, and technical service providers that support operation of the platform.
d. Health Data Integration Providers
As necessary to retrieve authorized health data through approved integrations, including medical device manufacturer platforms, Health Connect, and Apple Health when authorized by the user.
e. Legal Authorities
When required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or legal process.
We do not sell personal information or health data.
7. Data Security
We implement safeguards including:
• Encryption of data in transit and at rest
• Secure authentication and access controls
• System monitoring and protection measures
• Administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information
8. HIPAA Considerations
MyRemoteDr is designed to support healthcare workflows and applies safeguards aligned with HIPAA and related healthcare privacy and security standards where applicable.
9. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to:
• Provide services
• Support healthcare monitoring
• Comply with legal, contractual, and regulatory obligations
10. Data Access and Control
MyRemoteDr accounts are created and managed by healthcare organizations.
Users of the mobile application do not directly manage or delete their personal or health data within the app. If a user wishes to access, correct, or request deletion of their data, they should contact their healthcare provider or healthcare organization, which is responsible for managing patient records within the MyRemoteDr platform.
For users between the ages of 13 and 17, requests related to data access, correction, or deletion should be submitted by a parent, legal guardian, or the associated healthcare provider.

11. Use by Minors
The MyRemoteDr mobile application is not directed to children under the age of 13.
For users between the ages of 13 and 17, the application is intended to be used under the supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or healthcare provider, as applicable under local law.
Accounts are created and managed by healthcare organizations, and access to patient data is controlled by those organizations in accordance with applicable regulations.
12. Account and Data Deletion

Account deletion requests are handled in coordination with the associated healthcare provider and in accordance with applicable healthcare regulations, medical record retention requirements, and legal obligations.
13. Third-Party Services and Health Data Integrations
MyRemoteDr integrates with authorized medical device manufacturer platforms and services, including but not limited to Omron, Withings, Transtek, and other approved providers, to retrieve authorized patient health data for remote patient monitoring purposes.
When the user grants permission, MyRemoteDr may also read authorized health data from Android Health Connect or Apple Health (iOS). Access is limited to retrieving health information relevant to healthcare monitoring purposes.MyRemoteDr does not write, modify, synchronize, or send data back to Health Connect or Apple Health.
Health data obtained through authorized manufacturer integrations, Health Connect, or Apple Health may be securely transmitted to and stored within the MyRemoteDr platform for authorized healthcare monitoring purposes.
Users may revoke access to authorized health data sources at any time through the applicable platform, application, or device settings. The method for revoking access depends on the integration being used, including Health Connect, Apple Health, or authorized medical device manufacturer platforms.
14. No Advertising Use of Data
MyRemoteDr does not use personal information or health data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or data brokerage purposes.
15. Health Connect and Apple Health Data Use
MyRemoteDr's use of data obtained from Android Health Connect and Apple Health is limited to the following purposes:
• Providing Remote Patient Monitoring services to the user
• Displaying health information within the MyRemoteDr platform
• Transmitting authorized health information to the patient's healthcare provider through the MyRemoteDr platform
Health Connect and Apple Health serve solely as user-authorized sources of health data that MyRemoteDr may access when permission has been granted by the user. MyRemoteDr does not share patient information with Health Connect or Apple Health and does not write, modify, synchronize, or send data back to those platforms.
Health Connect and Apple Health data is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, data brokerage, artificial intelligence model training, or the development of products or services unrelated to healthcare monitoring.
Health Connect and Apple Health data is never sold to third parties.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be posted on this page along with a revised Effective Date.
